Gold Runner is a proud sponsor of this year's Black Joy Parade in Oakland, a hyper-positive celebration of the Black experience and community. The Black Joy Parade is an annual event featuring a festival and procession that brings together the community to highlight Black joy past, present, and future. The festival includes hundreds of Black-owned vendors, live performances including the Black Joy Choir, and fun activities for the whole family. It takes place Sunday, February 26th starting at 12:30PM. The parade begins at 14th and Franklin Street in downtown Oakland, and the entrance to the festival is at 19th and Franklin St.

Gold Runner is proud to be sharing a booth with another key public transit agency-San Francisco Bay Ferry- at the festival, so stop by for information, games, and prizes!

The parade and festival are free and open to the public.

Getting there: Take Gold Runner to the Oakland Jack London Station. Coming from SoCal or the Central Valley? We recommend you come in on Saturday, February 25th, and spend a relaxing evening in downtown Oakland at one of the many wonderful food and entertainment venues. Enjoy a night in a beautiful hotel and wake up refreshed and ready for a full day of celebration. Gold Runner to Run Special Trains to Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park for 2026 Black History Month Celebration, February 7

(February 2, Stockton, CA) – In honor of Black History Month, Gold Runner will run special trains to Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park for its 2026 Black History Month Festival. The event will take place Saturday, February 7, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 4:00 PM. Gold Runner has scheduled a special stop at the park for multiple trains, bookable at exclusive half-price “Allensworth fares.”
