The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build
contractor California Rail Builders (CRB), announces the demolition of the Amtrak building at 700 G Street in Wasco. Demolition activities will begin Monday, March 29, 2021 and is expected to last one week. Riders will continue to have access to the Amtrak platform and parking lot. Amtrak tickets are available for purchase online.

 

This work is part of Construction Package 4 (CP 4), the 22-mile stretch of high-speed rail between one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line and Poplar Avenue in Kern County.

DEMOLITION INFORMATION:

Demolition of the Amtrak building at 700 G Street in Wasco. No road or lane closures will be required.

Demolition activities will begin Monday, March 29, 2021 and is expected to last one week. 

Riders will have access to the Amtrak platform and parking lot.

Amtrak tickets are available for purchase online.
