Gold Runner Says Thank You: Passenger Appreciation Event in Modesto

On Friday, June 26, the Gold Runner brought tacos and shaved ice to the Modesto station as a thank you to riders and the community, hosting a passenger appreciation event from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. 

Celebration Built Around Passengers

The team served complimentary tacos from G’z Tacos and shaved ice from Heaven Snow to riders throughout the event, while local partners like Visit Modesto, Modesto Chamber of Commerce, and the Modesto Roadsters Baseball team set up their own tables to share information and resources with attendees. Passengers were also invited to complete a short survey for a chance to spin-the-wheel and win a prize, with giveaways including branded shirts, tote bags, summer kits, pens, and stickers.
