To help make this happen, Gold Runner has restored key aspects of our service on our intercity passenger rail and thruway bus service schedule. Whether it’s a day trip with the family, the daily work commute, weekend getaway, or travel to a local event, Gold Runner has got you covered. As COVID-19 restrictions ease, schedule changes for our trains and buses are as follows:
As ridership continues to increase, face masks will continue to be required to ensure passenger safety. Additionally, stringent cleaning and sanitation protocols will continue. Disinfection wipe downs are being performed multiple times each day on all high touch surfaces, and hand sanitizer is available for use by passengers. Gold Runner will continue to offer the capacity indicator for customers searching to travel in trains and buses that are less crowded. The capacity indicator displays real-time capacity when booking. If capacity exceeds your comfort level, you can change your ticket without incurring a change fee (a fare difference may apply to your new itinerary). Gold Runner encourages its riders to review the Visit California “Responsible Travel Code” for tips on how to plan thoughtful, safe, and respectful travel.
