Each year since 1989, Northern California's two Major League Baseball (MLB) teams have come together to compete for Bay Area MLB dominance at the annual "Battle of the Bay" series. Gold Runner is excited to participate by running a special train directly to the Oakland Coliseum Station (OAC) on Saturday, August 21 and Sunday, August 22.

By taking the special Battle of the Bay trains directly to Oakland Coliseum, you avoid traffic, tolls, and the battle for a parking spot. Aboard the spacious trains, you get to focus on what matters most: having a good time with your friends or family and arriving safely to the game and back home at the end of the day. While aboard Train 711, riders can enjoy tasty, locally sourced food options from the Café Car's limited menu. Choose from local, domestic, and imported beers, wines, and spirits to celebrate your favorite team's win.

Train schedules have been modified in order to ensure travelers arrive with ample time to find their seats prior to first pitch, scheduled for 1:07pm on both days. Train 711 will take riders all the way to Oakland Coliseum with a scheduled arrival time of 10:39am. Once you arrive in Oakland, the train will stop at OAC with the front gates of the stadium less than a five minute walk across the pedestrian walkway, providing convenient and hassle-free travel. After the game, Train 718 will depart from Oakland Coliseum at 5:25pm.
