Great news! Route 7 is now offering an additional roundtrip! If you plan to travel northbound make sure to book bus 6311 and if you are traveling southbound book bus 6316. Trains 711, 713, and 719 connect to Santa Rosa, and trains 711 and 713 connect to stops north of Santa Rosa.

Gold Runner™ Celebrates Passengers with Free Community Event at Modesto Station

(Modesto, CA) – The San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority (SJJPA), which manages the Gold Runner intercity rail and Thruway Bus service, will host a free Passenger Appreciation Event at the Modesto Amtrak Station on Friday, June 26, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event is being held in partnership with the Modesto Chamber of Commerce and Visit Modesto to celebrate the riders and community members who make Gold Runner an essential transportation option for California travelers.
